Water Damage:

We are Water Damage experts.  We understand this can be a traumatic situation.   You as our customer are our main concern.

At U.P. Cleaning & Restoration Specialists we know that water damage is a major inconvenience and can be extremely stressful.  We are here to help you and to prevent further damage from occurring.   We will work with you and your insurance company throughout the restoration process and we bill them directly so the only money out of your pocket is your insurance deductible.  We use industry standard pricing and software for estimates and billing that is insurance company approved.  This way you can be assured that there will be no problems with your insurance company paying on the claim.

Drying equipment will speed the evaporation of moisture from carpets, floors, walls and ceilings.  Dehumidifiers may be used to reduce humidity so that drying will occur as quickly and efficiently as possible. 

EMERGENCY SERVICES: Initial Visit     
On our first visit, our crew may (if applicable):
          1)  Perform a walkthrough with you to discuss the situation.
          2)  Discuss the procedures  that will be taken, scope of repairs if needed and insurance procedures.  We feel it is
                important everyone understands and is comfortable with the procedures to restore your home.
          3)  Move and/or protect furniture and contents from damaged area.
          4)  Extract standing water from floors and carpeting.
          5)  Remove any damaged material, including flooring if necessary.
          6)  Apply an EPA registered antimicrobial agent to inhibit mold and bacterial growth.
          7)  Position and turn on drying equipment.
          8)  Contact your insurance company or adjuster to advise status of the situation and to set up a meeting with the adjuster.

DRYING SERVICES: Day two/three
We will contact you by telephone to:
          1)  Ensure that all equipment is working properly.
          2)  Arrange a time to check drying progress and answer any questions you may have.
CONTINUING DRYING: Day three/four
Carpets may not require three days of drying, although they often do and four days is not unusual.  Carpets often dry before other
surfaces (sub-floors, concrete, drywall).  We will monitor tdrying progress and remove equipment when drying is complete. 
When the carpet is dry we will schedule a date for carpet reinstallation or cleaning (if applicable).

 
 
We will continue to communicate with you and your insurance company to make sure that nothing is overlooked throughout this process.  Upon project completion, we will have a final cleaning of structure and/or contents where applicable and a final inspection with you.
